It all starts here.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is proud of its connection to the Boston Marathon. The 2019 Boston Marathon is Monday, April 15. Each year it starts in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and the HCA proudly hosts hundreds of runners as they await their starting times in the morning. This year the HCA has a number of events occuring prior to the start of the Marathon, so please join us for the festivities, including Boston Marathon Pictures: Old and New in the Lotvin Family Gallery, April 9 - May 1, 2019.


BOSTON the Documentary
Film Screening, Q&A with the
Filmmaker and Executive Producer

Saturday, April 13, 7pm

Join us for a special screening of BOSTON the documentary with a Q&A after the film with filmmaker Jon Dunham and Executive Producer Tom Derderian. BOSTON, narrated by Matt Damon, is the first feature-length documentary film about the world's most legendary running race - the Boston Marathon. BOSTON premiered in April 2017.

Tickets: $12 per person. $10 for students and seniors.

Sign-Making Party!
Saturday, April 13, 2 to 4 pm

Make a sign for the HCA Marathon team or for any runner of the 2019 Boston Marathon. All supplies provided. Free, but donations are appreciated.

Boston Marathon Pictures: Old and New
On view in the Lotvin Family Gallery from April 1 to May 5.

Stop in and view this wonderful exhibit featuring photography and artifcact on special loan from the Boston Athletic Association, and recent images shot by Hopkinton Photographer John Collins. Free exhibit, open to the public.
