Personal Presence Workshop w/Kelly Grill

Grades: adult

Days: Sunday

Class Time: 09:00 AM- 12:00 PM

+ More Info

Many of the most successful people fall short of their full potential simply because they haven’t fully developed an understanding of their own presence.  Our presence allows us to connect, influence, and communicate with clarity and credibility to those around us - our friends, business associates, employees, team members and more importantly those you wish to influence. When you interact with others, they form an opinion of you within seconds and make decisions based on their perception of who you are and what you stand for.

It is well documented that people with a strong personal presence or ‘charisma’ (as it is often labelled), are much more likely to be offered career opportunities than people who lack or hide their charismatic qualities. Work with Kelly Grill to fully understand your own personal "presence" or how others see you in order to fully maximize your ability to be effective in the workplace, at your volunteer position, board seat or in your relationships.  Whether you give presentations on a regular basis, speak in public or work with a team, this workshop can meet you where you are at and give you the tools and confidence to improve your effectiveness.

This powerful workshop is a guided journey of self-discovery to understand the unique skills you bring to both your working and personal life and how to harness those skills to create a strong and memorable ‘Personal Presence’.The workshop will include individual reflection, vocal and physical exercises to strengthen effectiveness and improve clarity and acting techniques you can use in every day conversation.

Me & My Grown-up - Session 2

Grades: adult

Days: Wednesday

Class Time: 09:30 AM- 10:15 AM

+ More Info

In a Me and my Grown Up class students create a whole body warmup to get moving. This is followed by short exercises using one body part or a certain movement to introduce more precision and refinement. A series of locomotor movements across the floor are introduced to understand opposites - heavy/light, sharp/soft, sweeping/stretching, high/low. The "surprise" element of what's in the treasure chest is a fun way to take everyday items and use them to create movement. Students will join their teacher on the mat for a story and then dance it out. A group dance to say goodbye with stickers to recognize child's participation. For Ages 2-3 plus one adult. When registering, please add adult's name under "Participant" information. 6 classes. Instructor: Tina Marshall.
