"Hi! I'm Ashleigh Olson. I grew up here in Hopkinton, graduating HHS in 2006. Yoga has always been a passion of mine, and I have been practicing for 10+ years now. I love it so much that I want to share it with as many people as I can, which is why I decided to become a teacher! I graduated Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200 hour) in May of 2018 from Hot Power Yoga Center in Worcester, MA. I'm always learning and evolving as a teacher, I believe we never stop learning something that we love. One thing I hear constantly after becoming a teacher is "How I wish I could do yoga!" or "I'm just not flexible for yoga!" and I'm here to prove that yoga is for everyone! I teach to all levels, including beginners. I give clear cues and modifications to fit those who are injured and even those who are pregnant.

I am laid back and calm in my teaching. I will guide you through the flow, and together we will create a little heat in the body. At the end of our practice, I will bring you to savasana which will help you to focus back on your breath. I infuse gentle breathing exercises and mediation to calm our minds and bodies, and hands on assistance if needed to bring you deeper into the pose. Yoga is both mind and body, a work out for both!  I am my true authentic self when I teach. I love to get to know my students and for my students to get to know me. You will be learning from a real person, not a robot and I want my classes to reflect that. We will laugh, and have fun in the process. It makes for a comfortable atmosphere knowing we are all coming to our mats as ourselves.  I look forward to meeting you in my class soon!"
