Drawing is one of the most relaxing ways to de-stress and express yourself creatively! This course for beginners will explore basic drawing skills using various mark making media including, graphite, ink and charcoal. A simple materials list will be provided to students. 6 classes. Instructor: Lee Ball. This is a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to connect via Zoom each week to take a class together! For those who wish to take a break from the computer screen and interact with students in a setting that allows for social distancing, they are welcome to take the class at the HCA while the teacher Zooms in to provide instruction.
You don't need to commit to a multi-week class. This on-site workshop can be taken at the HCA on a week-to-week basis to allow you flexibility!
Learn the unlimited creative potential of using various materials and types of paint to create unique pieces of art. Art is a wonderful way to reduce stress and have fun! All materials will be provided. This is an on-site class only at the HCA. Space is limited for on-site programs in order to be compliant with the Massachusetts guidelines for gatherings and social distancing.
Instructor: Beth Newman. This class will be offered on Wednesdays. You must register for each class separately.

If you love musical theater, then join us for our virtual Cabaret Open Mic! We're pleased to welcome our featured singer, Rachel MacKenzie, to our March event!
Invite your friends and family to watch!
Rachel MacKenzie will kick off the cabaret with a selection of songs, from there we will open it up to others singers!

This will be a FACEBOOK LIVE event. Each singer will have a 5 minute slot to sing a song of their choice. Instructions for when/how to log on to the event will be sent to you. You may sign up for up to two slots. Thank you!

Learn the basics of the Photoshop Elements Editor such as cropping and resizing images (such as for email or print), straightening images, adjusting lighting and colors and removing problems in your images such as spots, lines and more. Great for people wanting to post images on family tree websites! Learn how and when to use these tools to improve your photos. Instructor: Joy Marzolf. No experience required. Students are encouraged to sign-up for a free trial of the software. This is an online workshop.
This fun, online class will involve creating unique pieces of art that connect to science, history, and math. Excellent for the development of fine motor skills and cognitive fuctions. An art kit is included in the tuition for this program.
Instructor: Judy Smith. 6 classes. A laptop, tablet or video-conferencing device and a reliable internet connection are required for this class. Class dates will be 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17.
An art kit will be provided by the HCA which parents can pick up prior to the start of the session.
