Hailing from Sunset Beach, North Carolina, Caleb Gore is a singer/songwriter who has carefully crafted a unique and heartfelt sound, mixing influences of pop, rock, and southern blues with sincere lyrics and soulful vocals.  Since he began writing and performing nearly a decade ago, he has steadily grown into a talented and captivating artist, earning a Master of Music in contemporary performance from Berklee College of Music and performing for audiences around the world. Caleb Gore is currently living in Nashville, TN, performing, writing, and recording songs for his first album.

Hope for the Holidays Card Drive (FREE Virtual Workshop)

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is on a mission—to create 100 Holiday Cards with messages of Hope—and deliver them to those in need this year through a partnership with Project Just Because (PJB).

Join us for a FREE online card design workshop on Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. The one-hour workshop will be conducted over Zoom and led by artist and HCA instructor Marion Buricatu and will require just a few simple materials.

Description of class: Create a beautiful art design with Holly leaves for a holiday season full of hope

Materials Needed: paper of any size and color, markers, pens, paint, and any other decorations you want to add to your card.

When your beautiful new card is complete, just add your own special message and then drop off your card at the center!

Want to do more? The HCA is also a drop off location for the PJB Holiday Drive Program for Kids. Feel free to drop off the following with your card at the HCA (98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA).

Enjoy this toe-tapping trip back to the 1940s and all the Christmas musical classics!

World War II ended more than 70 years ago. But the music, the dances, and the personalities are as fresh today as they were in the 1940s.

Enter Stage Left Theater is excited to air their WWII-era USO show, with a combination of both vintage material and original numbers. With Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, the Andrews Sisters, and more! Relive the magic of this very special holiday event that honors past and current military veterans.

These performances are free but you need to reserve a ticket to receive the show link. Donations are always welcome!

If you love musical theater, then join us for our virtual Cabaret Open Mic! This monthly series is a great way for singers to put themselves in front of a very supportive and fun crowd and to learn by watching other singers. Invite your friends and family to watch!

The Nutcracker Story (Virtual)

The Nutcracker Story adapts the traditional Nutcracker ballet to film creating the perfect family holiday performance to enjoy from home. The audience will follow along with a girl and her uncle as they open a beloved Nutcracker storybook and enter into its magical pages.

This version is a wonderful family holiday activity for all ages and perfect for little ones who might be experiencing The Nutcracker for the first time. Join Clara and her Prince as they travel to the Palace of the Sweets and enjoy favorites like Hot Chocolate, Tea, Marzipan, Peppermint Candy Canes, and the Waltz of the Flowers.

Performed by our HCA Dancers. Produced and choreographed by HCA Director of Dance Jessica Wilson with illustrations and video direction by HCA dance instructor Theresa Kniaz.

December 20 performance only: For an additional ticket price of $15, add a special visit with Clara in the Sugar Plum forest before the 3 pm show! Each ticket holder will receive a package of cocoa, cookies, and extra special marshmallow to enjoy while visiting with Clara. She will read a story and show you a piece of the dance from the party scene! It is a memory your little one won't soon forget.

It's been a challenging year, so it's time to "LET IT GO!"

Families are invited to come to the HCA to view an outdoor ice sculpture demonstration from Brilliant Ice Sculpture, meet Frozen's Anna & Elsa, enjoy some hot chocolate and treats, and contribute to a special community art project where you can add a wish for 2021!

This late afternoon event is perfect for families with children. In order to control the size, please select a 30-minute window when selecting your ticket. If there will be 4 people in your group, enter "4" for your number of tickets. A suggested donation of $20 per family.
