Light Us Up!
The HCA is excited to announce an amazing opportunity to update our theater lighting and equipment. When we opened our performance space in 2015, we were not in a position to install LED lighting instruments that our grid was designed for. Instead, we relied on light instruments that were donated or borrowed. The average light on our grid is over 40 years old, with many theater lights having reached their maximum lifespan.
Through a Mass Cultural Council (MCC) grant program, we have the opportunity to receive matching funds for every dollar that we raise towards this campaign. For anyone who has enjoyed a play or concert in our theater, we ask you to consider making a donation to replace our decades-old lighting instruments and move to more energy efficient and reliable LED lighting.
We are thrilled to announce that Alex and Julia Potapov have pledged $10,000 to this campaign to kick us off! That means all of your donations will be matched by this gift and then matched again if we are successful receiving the grant from MCC.
