First Friday Open Mic with George Wood
There is an almost epic quality to the songs of this man. The arrangements are electric and inspiring…and still man, that voice. Its like a fine wine that needs to breath and fills the air with it’s aroma, eliciting some sort of craving for more. Sweet and soothing but deep and emotional.

About the event
Calling all singers (and people who love to listen to people sing)! Open Mic is a great way for singers to put themselves in front of a very supportive and fun crowd and to learn by watching other singers. Our host is the talented singer/songwwriter Jack Byrne. Socializing and sign-up start at 7:30 p.m. and the music begins at 8:00 p.m. All ages welcome! Acts range from singer-songwriters, instrumentalists, poets, beatboxers, and everything in between! $10.00 at the door — HCA Members are free.
