Scarecrow Making Workshop and Contest

Are you a fan of Halloween? Then join the HCA’s scarecrow making contest and let your imagination run wild! This is a great family activity!  

All ages are welcome. CASH PRIZES will be awarded! Scarecrow frame provided by HCA. 

• Need help and ideas? Join us on Sunday 10/22 from 2 pm-4pm to get help assembling your scarecrow. Bring the clothing you want to dress a scarecrow in and we'll help you stuff and assemble it on site at the HCA.
• Those people who do not need assistance are asked to bring their finished scarecrow to HCA on Friday 10/27.
• Scarecrows will be on display October 28-through Halloween.
• Winner’s announced at The Monster Mash family event on October 28.
• CASH PRIZES include $100 for first prize and $50 second prize
• Honorable mentions receive fun halloween treats!
