Silk Painting Workshop: Winter Theme

Join this inclusive and creative painting workshop to learn how to paint on silk, an ancient medium originating in India and Eastern Asia. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you're welcome. We will start with lessons on technique and color mixing, ensuring everyone can express the light and colors of winter. We'll explore the work of Chinese artist Hong Leung for inspiration and create our own bright winter scene. The process of painting on silk is similar to watercolor painting in how it reacts to the surface. Guidance will be given on how to fix your finished works and how to put them on display.
