About the event
With spring comes new beginnings, and this year’s HCA dance concert pays heed to the call to celebrate and embrace change. The performance opens with Féte de la Cloche, the Celebration of the Bells from the classical ballet Coppélia. The HCA dancers present the divertissement with new choreography by Jessica Wilson.
The program then veers to feature our hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary movement classes, which present work linked together by themes of personal growth and transformation, all with original choreography by Mallory Cash and Zoe Pan.
The performance closes with the premiere of Ashley Rosenthal’s The Lost Song, a children’s ballet about finding your inner voice in a heartwarming performance that captures the essence and joy of spring.
The performance will be approximately 90 minutes long and will be presented at the Hopkinton Middle School auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe, Hopkinton, MA.
