Curator Shea Justice grew up in Roxbury Massachusetts. After attending Boston University he became an art instructor for elementary and secondary students. Later he received his masters from the Art Institute of Boston. Currently he teaches at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. Justice is also a member of AAMARP ( African American Master Artist Program) at Northeastern University and a member of Violence Transformed.

- Opening Reception: Friday October 13 at 6:30 p.m. Mary Havey, Director of Violence Transformed will be introducing the Shea Justice art show
- Art talk with Shea Justice: Friday October 20, at 6:30 p.m. Description of the art talk: Motivating high school students and the public to explore and research history is a valuable endeavor that can help foster a deeper understanding of the past and its impact on the present. We will discuss various strategies to encourage this exploration, commencing at libraries and with a focus on American history. Additionally, we will delve into the importance of libraries for research and due diligence in uncovering the truth in history and politics. Furthermore, we will engage in a debate regarding the use of digital resources and platforms to engage a tech-savvy audience. This event is open to individuals of all ages.
