Landscape Fundamentals in Watercolor

Explore your creativity and the methods of expressing a landscape, likely the most popular subject for artists of all mediums, and the changing seasons in these one-day watercolor painting workshops. Beginner or experienced artists will receive individualized coaching, including composition, values, wash options, contrast, textures, and supplies.

Discover how to break down a complex landscape and capture the tranquil charm of a snowy landscape or the fresh blossoms of spring. Subjects can include forests, farmland, seascapes, mountains, and gardens. While various painting approaches are reviewed, the instructor specializes in tightly rendered, realistic work, and photo references will be used for inspiration.
