About the event

Are there stories to tell that words alone are not enough? Does an image transport us differently? The HCA is celebrating and exploring the methods of Visual storytellers.

An exhibition of visual storytelling through graphic novels, comics, sculpture, painting  and illustrations. Graphic novels and comics use sequential art to tell a story. Unlike comic books, graphic novels are generally stand-alone stories with more complex plots.

Featuring work from artists Nicholas Alexander Jr, Kristin Conant, Roger Cutler, Em Meek, Lillian Skinner, Samela St Pierre and Michael Talbot.

The "Narrative" exhibition will be available for viewing at the HCA's Lotvin Family gallery July 11-August 25th. Opening Reception: July 14th at from 5:30-6:30 pm.

The HCA gallery hours for public viewing: Monday - Fridays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
