Plein Air Painting Workshop (Multiple)

Capture the colors of summer en plein air (outdoors) in this series of workshops set in the HCA gardens. Work in your favorite paint medium (oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel), and gain more comfort and confidence working outdoors. HCA's Sunday morning outdoor concert series will serve as your backdrop and entertainment. Instruction will cover means of accurately and expressively depicting outdoor sites, including composition and how to make artistic choices while the light changes.

This workshop(s) is for those artists with some painting experience, whether they have taken an HCA course or have experience working independently. Join us for one workshop or multiple and prepare to ignite your creativity!
