Portraits In Red Tour and Exhibition

Join Marion Buricatu, an enthusiastic artist and instructor with expertise in art history and various artistic mediums, for an engaging tour of Hopkinton Center for the Arts' powerful exhibit this fall, Portraits in RED: Missing & Murdered Indigenous Peoples Painting Project. Learn about Indigenous artist Nayana LaFond, who began this project in 2020, never intending for it to be as big as it is now. As of February 2024, the project includes 110 portraits, as Nayana has connected with numerous families requesting portraits of missing loved ones. After the tour, join attendees for coffee, sweets, and a time to connect about art and build community.
