Sunday Yoga Practice with Deb McGonnell
In this 75-minute class, we will move and breathe together, using yoga postures and principles to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. By focusing on the breath, body and mind, we will increase our ability to find balance between effort and ease and experience the benefits of yoga for life, both on and off the mat. Please bring a yoga mat, strap and two blocks for practice.
New! Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a rewarding practice for all! It is especially helpful if you are working with physical limitations or if you want a practice you can use at your desk. We practice asanas or poses, breath work, relaxation and meditation. Various levels of practice and modifications are offered as per your current capacity. No experience needed.
Chakra Workshop
Chakras are energy centers in the body. This workshop will offer a journey through the seven main chakras through a practice of asanas (postures), breath work, and guided meditation , visualization and chanting. We will discuss the physical and emotional associations of each chakra.
Yoga Nidra Workshop
Yoga nidra is a powerful guided meditation that connects you with the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers of your being. All it requires of you is to rest and listen. It can be both extremely relaxing and energizing, and has the power to transform on a deep level.
Restorative Yoga
This gentle and Restorative Yoga class suitable for all levels will include seated stretches/poses at the beginning of each class before we move into a series of supportive poses. We'll end each session with an extended guided savasana, a pose of deep rest.
New! Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is low-impact and slow-paced, using mindful movement, deep breathing, and Restorative Yoga to foster relaxation. Flexibility is not a prerequisite. In fact, most people find that their range of motion increases with slower movements.
